Overall Opinion:
We gave Jym Pro Jym Protein a 4 out of 5 stars because it has qualities that are better than just your average protein powder.
This particular protein powder uses a blend of unique, higher quality protein sources.
It uses Whey Protein Isolate, Micellar Casein, Milk Protein Isolate, and Egg White Protein.
This combination is used for a specific purpose.
Whey Protein Isolate is quick digesting, Egg White Protein is medium digesting, and Micellar Casein is slow digesting.
What this means is that your body is given a constant rate and access to protein and amino acids to help promote and prolong protein synthesis.
This helps with muscle growth, recovery, and overall performance.
Pro Jym can be used at any time of the day such as morning, before workouts, after exercise, before bed, and in between meals.
With 24 grams of protein per serving, this amount of flexibility and convenience makes it easy to reach your daily protein requirements if you’re trying to build and repair muscle.
This protein is also very affordable and actually cheaper than average.
It mixes very well, tastes good, and didn’t give me any adverse side effects.
That being said, it does contain milk, soy, and eggs, so be careful if you’re sensitive or allergic.
Overall, Jym Pro Jym Protein is an above average product and gets 4 out of 5 stars.
Detailed Opinion:
Ease of Use
Jym Pro Jym Protein is really easy to use and mixes up well.
When you use a shaker or blender, it comes out as a nice consistency without any chunks or grit (which I really appreciate!)
Just mix 1 scoop with 6 ounces of water or your choice of beverage and shake or blend for about 10-20 seconds.
Easy as that!
Taste
I tried this protein powder in the Vanilla flavor.
It’s pretty much your classic vanilla taste and flavor.
It’s not too sweet and doesn’t taste that bad just with water, but it’s a little bland.
However, I like it a lot better when I mix it with vanilla almond milk (or your choice of milk).
There are a few other flavor options as well, such as, chocolate cookie crunch, cookies & cream, and s’mores.
Macro Analysis
For the macro analysis, each serving of Pro Jym Protein has 24 grams of protein, 2.5 grams of fat, and 5 grams of carbs.
This is a good, well-rounded amount if you’re interested in muscle growth and recovery especially lean muscle.
It also has 140 calories per serving, which is nice and low.
Ingredient Drilldown
Pro Jym Protein uses a combination of high quality proteins.
These proteins include: Whey Protein Isolate (7.5g), Micellar Casein (7g), Milk Protein Isolate (7g), and Egg White Protein (2.5g).
This is a unique blend and may be beneficial for reaching your fitness goals.
Whey Protein Isolate is very pure and easy for your body to digest.
It’s accessed quickly but also used up fast, offering a spike in protein.
Micellar casein is also a quality protein and is very slow digesting, which offers a longer, steadier rate of amino acids.
Egg white protein is medium digesting compared to micellar casein and whey protein isolate.
By using this combination or proteins, your body is consistently covered for a longer period of time with protein and amino acids.
This helps boost protein synthesis and increase muscle mass, recovery time, and overall performance and strength.
It’s also low in carbs, fat, and sugar, making it a good option for lean muscle building.
It does have milk, egg, and soy ingredients based on the protein sources.
Side Effects
While taking Pro Jym Protein I didn’t feel any negative side effects.
I was definitely happy about this!
I felt good the whole time and didn’t have any sluggish feelings or bloating.
It does contain milk, eggs, soy, and sucralose, so be mindful if you’re allergic or sensitive to any of those.
Best Uses
Based on our testing, this protein powder is best used for those looking to build and repair lean muscle.
It has 24 grams of protein per serving, which is very necessary for lean muscle growth without adding bulk.
With the combination of proteins, it’s also good for promoting protein synthesis and increasing strength and overall performance.
It suggests taking it a few different ways to help reach your goals, such as, 1-2 scoops 30 minutes before working out, 1-2 scoops within 30 minutes after working out, 1-2 scoops either morning or night, or 1-2 scoops in between meals.
Doing this would definitely help you reach your daily protein requirements to help boost muscle and performance.
Price/Value
For a 2 lb container of Jym Pro Jym Protein, the price is $32.56.
There are 26 servings per 2 lb container.
It winds up being 5.21 cents per gram of protein.
This is actually really affordable and less expensive than your average protein powder.
I think it’s a great value for the price.
Guarantee
I couldn’t find any kind of satisfaction guarantee for Pro Jym Protein.
This is a definite disappointment.
I like when companies can offer at least something for their customers.
If you buy it from retailers like Amazon, you might be able to get a refund, though.
