    Overall Opinion:

I gave Mutant Pro 100 4.5 out of 5 stars because I really like this protein shake!

It has a lot I really like about it.

This protein powder tastes absolutely incredible.

I got the Banana Cream Pie flavor and I could drink it all day long.

Even just with water, it was super creamy and rich.

When I used vanilla almond milk, it skyrocketed the taste that much more.

This is a huge advantage because so many protein powders just taste awful and you have to slam them back as fast as you can.

With this one, I actually enjoyed and looked forward to drinking it!

It also has 25 grams of 100% whey protein per serving, which is a solid amount for building and maintaining muscle mass.

It has 3 types of whey protein including: Whey Protein Concentrates, Whey Protein Isolate and Hydrolyzed Whey Protein.

I like that it uses whey proteins because they are quickly absorbed in the body, especially hydrolyzed whey because it’s already been partially broken down for you.

This protein shake offers up a solid amino acid profile that includes Branched Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs) and essential aminos.

These really help with muscle recovery and growth.

It also has 20% of your daily recommended amount of calcium, which is a nice little perk.

I think this was a nice addition to my workout routine.

I would drink it either before or after my workouts and I felt great and never got bloated or sluggish.

It’s convenient because you don’t need a blender, a shaker cup mixes it up perfectly in about 15 seconds.

Overall, I really like this protein powder and think it’s best for those looking to gain and maintain muscle.

    Detailed Opinion:

    Ease of Use

Mutant Pro 100 is incredibly easy to use.

Just mix 1 level scoop with 6-8 fl oz. of cold water and shake for 10-20 seconds.

It blends up really quickly into a nice, thick protein shake.

It’s smooth and doesn’t have any chunks, so a blender isn’t necessary.

    Taste

This is most definitely one of my absolute favorite tasting protein shakes I’ve ever tried!

    I’m in love with it.

The flavor I got was Banana Cream Pie and it’s heavenly.

It tastes exactly like a pie and is so delicious.

It’s really rich and creamy and has the perfect amount of sweetness to it.

It also doesn’t have that common bitter aftertaste, which is a total win in my book!

They tout this brand as 100% gourmet.

I’ve also heard from other users that all the flavors taste amazing.

Some of the other flavors include:  Birthday Cake, Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip, Strawberries & Cream, Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream, Old-Fashioned Vanilla Milkshake, and Rich Chocolate Milk.

    Macro Analysis

The macros for Mutant Pro 100 are 25 grams of protein, 2.5 grams of fat, and 5 grams of carbohydrates.

These numbers are based off 1 scoop (36g), which is 1 serving size.

There are 140 calories per serving.

I like that this protein shake has relatively low amounts of carbs, fat, and calories.

This may help with lean muscle mass, in particular.

    Ingredient Drilldown

Mutant Pro 100 uses 100% whey as the protein source.

I really like that it doesn’t use a “proprietary blend” or have hidden ingredients.

There are 3 types of whey used in this supplement, which are: concentrate, isolate, and hydrolyzed whey proteins.

Whey, in general, is quickly and easily digested in the body.

Isolates have a higher percentage of protein compared to concentrates and are filtered to have far less carbohydrates, lactose, cholesterol, and fat.

Hydrolyzed whey is partially broken down, so it’s absorbed even quicker than concentrate and isolate.

This protein powder has a good amino acid profile.

Some of the typical amino acids per serving include:  2.7g Leucine (BCAA), 1.4g Isoleucine (BCAA), 1.4g Valine (BCAA), 2.3g Lysine, 1.7g Threonine, and 4.3g Glutamine + Glutamic Acid.

A few of the others are Tyrosine, Glycine, Arginine, Tryptophan, Aspartic Acid, and Serine.

There are 50mg of cholesterol per serving, which is about 17% of your recommended daily value.

Keep this in mind if you take more than 1 serving per day or have a particularly high cholesterol diet.

This protein shake also has 20% of your daily calcium requirement.

Milk, soy, and sucralose are used in the ingredients, so be careful if you’re sensitive.

    Side Effects

I didn’t see any negative side effects during or after drinking Mutant Pro 100.

    This is a HUGE plus.

So many protein shakes leave me bloated and sluggish.

I felt great while taking this one.

It does contain milk and soy, so just be careful if you’re allergic or sensitive to these.

    Best Uses

This protein shake is best used to help build, repair, and maintain muscle.

It has 25 grams of protein per serving, which can definitely aid in muscle growth and recovery.

As long as you’re working out and watching your diet, this protein shake has the potential for some muscle progress.

It’s also low in carbs, fat, and calories so it may also help with lean muscle mass.

You can use it anytime such as when you first wake up, in between meals, or after a workout.

    Price/Value

It costs $34.99 for a 2 lb. container of Mutant Pro 100.

This works out to 5.58 cents per gram of protein.

This is about average for a protein powder, maybe a bit less than average.

I think it’s a great value for the price and I’d definitely buy this protein powder again.

    Guarantee

I’m so disappointed because there’s absolutely no money back or satisfaction guarantee for Mutant Pro 100.

    This is such a bummer.

Even their return policy is incredibly strict and I don’t like it.

I really wish they offered at least something for their customers.
