I’m pretty impressed with Modern Man Nutrition Alpha Isolate, so I give it 3.5 out of 5 stars.
It definitely has a little extra going for it compared to your average protein powder.
There are a few things that really stick out with this one.
First off, it uses a super high quality protein source.
It uses hydrolyzed 100% whey protein isolate that’s been micro & ultra-filtered.
That leaves you with really clean protein that’s easy to digest and absorb.
It has solid macros and offers up 27 grams of protein per scoop.
It’s super easy to use and you can literally mix it up with a spoon (something that’s almost unheard of).
Usually protein powders are ridiculously chunky with the spoon technique but this one was incredibly smooth and creamy.
It tastes great and even when I just used water.
It’s pretty sweet, which could be good or bad depending on your personal preference.
I felt great while using this protein powder. I usually drank it in the morning or right after my workouts in the afternoon.
The price is a great value for what you get.
But unfortunately the website doesn’t give you a ton of information about it.

Modern Man Nutrition Alpha Isolate is probably one of the easiest proteins I’ve ever used (and I have quite a rolodex of ones I’ve tried).
Just add 1 level scoop of protein with 8-10 ounces of milk, water, juice, or your favorite beverage.
They tout you can just use a spoon to mix it up and I almost never believe it when they say that.
Well, they proved me wrong.
I used a spoon each and every time to blend this and it mixed up like a champ!
Super impressed with it!
Taste
I got the Honey Granola flavor and I was pretty pumped to try it.
Much to my disappointment, it basically just tasted like creamy vanilla with a hint of sweet honey.
I’m not sure where the granola part was supposed to come in.
Regardless, it tastes great. It does have a slight artificial aftertaste.
It’s definitely really sweet, so if that’s something you like, then this will be your jam.
I prefer things on the sweeter side, so I definitely liked it.
I’m picky with flavors and tastes when it comes to proteins.
But with this one I just used water and it turned out great each time.
