Overall Opinion:
I give Beast Sports Nutrition Beast Protein a 3.5 out of 5 stars.
I think it’s an above average product and provides a nice range of benefits for the user.
It has 5 sources of protein, all with ranging digestion and absorption rates.
The proteins are good quality and consist of Whey Protein Concentrate, Whey Protein Isolate, Whey Protein Hydrolysate, Micellar Casein, and Egg White Albumin.
These sources provide a great amino acid profile, including very beneficial BCAAs.
An added perk to this protein powder is an enzyme blend.
These enzymes will go to work to help you better digest and absorb the protein.
The macros are solid and could best help those looking to put on some lean muscle mass, increase strength, and assist their recovery.
This protein powder is super easy to use and mixes up really quick.
The taste is relatively bland but goes down without a fight.
I really like how affordable this product is.
I think it’s a great value and you can get some solid protein from it.
I used this protein powder before and after working out and felt replenished from it.
I wasn’t as tired and I think it helped with my recovery a bit.
It’s an easy, cheaper way to get in your protein requirements.
Unfortunately, it did give me some minor side effects and it doesn’t have any kind of satisfaction guarantee.
Detailed Opinion:
Ease of Use
Beast Sports Nutrition Beast Protein is really easy to use.
Just take 1 level scoop and mix it with 6-8 fluid ounces of water, milk, or your favorite beverage.
You don’t even need a blender, which is really convenient.
Just mix it up in a shaker cup for about 10 seconds and then you’re good to go.
It blends into a nice consistency and doesn’t have any nasty chunks.
Taste
I tried this protein powder in the Vanilla flavor.
My first impression was that it’s surprisingly bland.
It has a very subtle sweetness and vanilla taste to it.
This is definitely preference and many people prefer a protein powder that isn’t overly sweet.
I mixed mine with unsweetened almond milk and it went down pretty easily.
Macro Analysis
As for the macro analysis, each serving of protein powder has 25 grams of protein, 1.5 grams of fat, and 5 grams of carbs.
One serving, which is 1 scoop, has 140 calories.
These macros are great for building and repairing lean muscle.
Ingredient Drilldown
Beast Sports Nutrition Beast Protein uses a protein blend of 5 different proteins.
These protein sources include: Whey Protein Concentrate, Whey Protein Isolate, Whey Protein Hydrolysate, Micellar Casein, and Egg White Albumin.
The reasoning behind the different protein sources is to help give you a continuous release of protein.
For instance, whey protein is easily and quickly digested.
Where as casein is much slower digesting and can last up to 7 hours longer than whey protein.
This protein powder gives a solid amino acid profile, including BCAAs that may help with muscle protein synthesis, muscle strength, and muscle size.
Great additions to this protein powder are digestive enzymes including protease, amylase, and lactase.
These help with the digestion and absorption of protein.
Side Effects
I did have some slight belly pain and bloating when taking this shake.
It wasn’t horrible but I did notice it.
This protein powder isn’t the most allergy friendly because it contains milk, soy, and eggs.
Just be careful if you’re allergic or sensitive to any of those ingredients.
Best Uses
After analyzing and supplementing with this protein powder, I think its best uses are for maintaining and building lean body mass and also increasing strength.
It has a solid amount of protein (25g) from various protein sources that may help give you a continuous release of aminos.
It also has solid macros that support lean muscle mass.
Price/Value
Beast Sports Nutrition Beast Protein costs $23.99 for a 2 lb. container.
The container has 26 servings and works out to 3.69 cents per gram of protein.
This is a great deal in my opinion.
It’s really affordable compared to many other protein powders and you get a pretty solid protein for your money.
Guarantee
Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any type of guarantee on the Beast Sports Nutrition website.
This is a let down.
I think companies should stand behind their product and offer their customers some sort of security.
