    The more I used and researched this protein, the more impressed I get!

    It’s a really fantastic source of clean, plant-based protein and fiber.

    This product is literally just organic hemp protein.  It’s incredibly natural and has zero additives or preservatives.  It’s so natural that you have to refrigerate it once you open it.

    This protein is SO diverse and can fit so many individual diets, lifestyles, and unique health and fitness goals like gaining lean muscle mass, losing weight, toning up, or a combination.

    It’s a high quality protein that contains 15g of protein in every serving (3 tablespoons).

    Plant-based proteins usually get a bad rap but this one is more of a superfood than an actual protein shake.

    It has a complete amino acid profile of all 20 aminos, including the 9 essential aminos, and 3 Branched-Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs).

    Ease of Use

    This hemp protein is relatively easy to use.

    The directions say to blend 2-4 tablespoons of Hemp Protein with 8 oz milk (almond milk is ideal) and a ripe banana.

    I like things quick and easy so I usually skipped the banana and just used a shaker cup and some almond milk.

    It mixes up surprisingly well and has a very minimal gritty texture.

    Plant-based and vegan proteins are incredibly gritty and chalky.

    But this one wasn’t bad at all.

    Taste

    This protein is pretty unappealing as is since it’s literally just hemp protein.

    But you’re intended to mix it with milk (almond milk is recommended) and a ripe banana.

    When I mixed it with just almond milk, it actually wasn’t bad.

    It has a very subtle veggie taste it but can easily be masked with flavored milk or add ins like fruit.

    I used it in a variety of different ways.

    I would fill a shaker cup with chocolate or vanilla almond milk and blend the hemp in and it tasted great.

    I also combined it with a chocolate plant-based protein powder and chocolate almond milk and it was fantastic!

    The last method was in my morning smoothie.  I added in 1 serving of hemp protein along with a variety of veggies, fruit, chia seeds, flax seeds, almond milk or juice, and ginger root.  It ended up being a delicious, nutrient packed smoothie!
